COCC IMAP Email Client Settings

IMAP is often used by mobile devices such as cell phones to access email. For information about whether or not your client/device has the necessary support and how to configure it, please see your documentation or contact your service provider.

For full email functionality we recommend using Internet Explorer 6 or higher with the Outlook Web Access email client, however if you choose to use an IMAP client the key required connection settings are:

IMAP Server (incoming):  mail2.ad.cocc.edu, port 993, SSL
SMTP Server (outgoing):  mail2.ad.cocc.edu, port 587, TLS/SSL, requires authentication

For general information about the IMAP protocol click here.

Mobile Device Notes

  • If your mobile device does NOT support IMAP or you do not want to use it, you may be able to access your email via a web browser by simply navigating COCC's web page as you would do from your computer. However, functionality may be limited.
  • Usage fees may apply, contact your service provider.

Accessing COCC's Email Directory

COCC also provides LDAP support for accessing COCC's email directory within your email client. Click here for more information about LDAP support.
