Web boxes are special content areas which typically dynamically generated and generally display along the right side of a page.

In most cases the dynamic content generated includes lists of the most recent or most popular Event, Blog, etc items. The example at the right is a web box which includes the latest blog posts from this programs.cocc.edu community.

To add a web box to a page you must have full Administrator rights. (Click here for help logging in.)

  1. Navigate to the page where you would like to have a web box displayed.
  2. Click the Edit Settings link displayed in the content area.
  3. In the resulting web form check the "Show/Hide ADVANCED OPTIONS & SECURITY SETTINGS" box.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  5. The last set of settings on the right hand side is used for adding, removing and customizing your web boxes.
  6. For more detailed help regarding the options available click the Help link (Help link) available in the Web Box settings heading.
  7. Once the desired web boxes have been added to the selected boxes section save your changes and the web boxes should appear with the currently applicable content included.
