NOTE: Rights to "Edit Content" means that the user can access our page editor and therefore has the ability to upload images, documents, etc. (Unless otherwise blocked; as we are currently planning for the Broadside classifieds.)
Only Administrators Can Do The Following
- Add New Sections
- Edit Existing Section Settings
- View and Use Admin Menu Options
NOTE: Administrators can also set up Voting Polls for which custom security settings can be created. I.e. a unique list of roles can be selected that will have rights to view and complete the Voting Poll.
Users and Roles
- User rights are controlled by their role membership. To configure a user's roles use the Add/Edit User options available on the Admin menu.
- Membership in COCC's ZZZ (etc) groups is managed by COCC's Active Directory domain and is therefore controlled by existing department membership, student enrollment, etc. processes.
