BubbleScan

Using the portable BubbleScan 101 and the Excel-based TestBook software, you can

• score tests with up to 200 questions
  (2 BubbleScan forms) and varying answer labels
  
• assign questions to subgroups (e.g. Addition, Subtraction,.. or Easy, Medium, Hard)
  
• save tests and add retakes later
  
• print individual test reports with or without answer key and with our without pass/fail mark
  
• track test scores for students and manually add additional scores (extra credit, attendance points,...)
  
• print individual report cards (summary of all scores)
  
• generate test analysis report (answer frequency)
  
• export summary file (.csv)

• STEP 1: BubbleScan Forms: Give your students the BubbleScan form to fill out. This tutorial tells you what ID number the students need to fill out on the BubbleScan Form. Stress with your students the need to carefully enter the last 6 digits of their COCC Student ID Number. If they do this incorrectly, the grading process will take longer for the instructor.
• STEP 2: Load the Test Wizard software onto your computer. You only have to do this once.
• STEP 3:  Download Roster from Banner: Find out ow to get your roster from Banner so that the roster is in the right format to import into the TestWizard for the BubbleScanner:
• STEP 4: Grade & Analyze the exam: With BubbleScan, you can further analyze your student's answers. This tutorial shows you the process of grading and analyzing the exams.
