TO CREATE A POOL OF QUESTIONS from QUESTIONS YOU'VE ALREADY CREATED
1. Log into Bb.
2. Go to the course where you've created the Quiz questions.
3. Go to the Control Panel.
4. Click on "Pool Manager"
5. Click the ADD POOL icon.
6. Create a name for your Pool.
7. Hit the SUBMIT button.
8. Beside the ADD drop-down menu, choose FROM A QUESTION POOL OR ASSESSMENT.
9. Click the GO button. You'll see a list of your exams, there.
10. Click on the Exam that has the questions you've created
12. Check the ALL box.
13. Click the SEARCH button. Your questions will appear (they may appear on 2 pages, so check all the items on page ONE, then hit the submit button. Then go back and go to page 2 and check those questions.
14. When you have all of your questions added to your POOL, hit the OK button. You'll be taken back to the Pool Manager page.
15. Click the OK button.
NOW you can create a Random-Block Quiz using that POOL. Here is HOW:
HOW TO CREATE A QUIZ USING A RANDOM BLOCK POOL
1. From the Control Panel, choose they hyperlink where you want to create the test (e.g., Course Documents).
2. Click the ADD TEST icon.
3. Click the CREATE button.
4. Give your test a name.
5. Hit the SUBMIT button.
6. Beside the ADD dropdown menu, choose RANDOM BLOCK.
7. Hit the GO button.
8. Highligh the POOL you made just a bit ago.
9. Check the ALL box.
10. Beside "Number of questions to import", type in the number of questions from the POOL you'd like randomly presented to the students.
11. Beside POINTS PER QUESTION, put in howmany ever points you want each question to be worth.
12. Hit the IMPORT button.
13. Hit the OK button.
14. Click the SUBMIT button.
15. Click the OK button.
16. Hit the "Modify the Test options" hyperlink.
17. Make your test available and make any other option choices you'd like.
18. Click the Submit button.
19. Click the OK button.
20. Click the OK button.
Your RANDOM BLOCK test is deployed and ready for students.
