Add Users/Students To Your Course

Students are automatically enrolled (details below) into Blackboard courses but occasionally Instructors may want to add guest lecturers or students making up an Incomplete grade from a previous term.
Item Enroll Users
1) Click Enroll User (under User Management) on the Control Panel
2) Type student's last name and click Search button
3) Click "Add" box to the left of student's name when you have found him/her on the list (You may need student's COCC ID number to identify him/her when you find multiple identical names)
4) Click Submit, then OK

Automatic Enrollment Process Details
Once a student adds a class their "add" needs to be processed and entered in to Banner. Once this is completed the student will be registered in to the course automatically once ITS does a Blackboard student/course import. ITS generally runs this import process once per day although occasionally during really busy times the import is ran twice a day.

Using the above step-by-step process instructors can also add new students to their course immediately if time is of the essence.
